Tunnel of Trees Michigan
Beautiful part of the state that we enjoy driving thru. Is it the trees my wife loves or the many nice houses in the region?

Scotney Castle UK - Watercolor
Gone back to my first love with art - watercolors. This is Scotney Castle in the UK. Inspired by Colin Bradley, not a copy, but my artistic impression. I enjoyed it so much that I am getting more watercolor materials. This will enable me to mix up my work and resist getting a block.

Snowball
My daughter Mollie was heartbroken over the loss of her first real pet - Snowball. To try to help her over her heartache I painted him to be a reminder of the gentle rabbit. Two last paintings were animals - first for me!

Dixie
Too long since I posted anything, no excuses. Finally finished Dixie, the puppy owned by a great friend who was instrumental to my move to the USA with my family for our new life. Love to hear your comments!

Look what my wonderful wife got me!
Sharon, my wonderful wife bought me these goodies for our anniversary. She even let me have them early. Great American 18 Try Me half sticks, Unison 16 Half stick - Emma Colbert collection and Diane Townsend - Soft Form 24 landscape A with a pad of Pastelmat. I can’t wait to see what I can produce with them.

Meadow
Recently got a new stash of materials - Clarefontain Pastelmat paper, 120 half stick Sennelier soft pastels and a sampler set of various green soft pastels. Dakota Pastels a great supplier of materials. Today I used the sampler set and a few of my existing soft pastels to create this painting. The downside is the sampler has many beautiful pastels that I want to buy more.

Sunset
A very good friend passed on a photograph that my wife volunteered me to reproduce in pastels. This is on Canson Mi Teintes pastel paper with a variety of pastels - Sennelier, Terry Ludwig, Rembrandt and Nu-pastels. I hope DP is happy with my rendition of her photograph.

Well I have decided to do a pastel pencil painting of our middle Shih Tzu Paddy. Blending the colors to get it right is not so easy.
